Recover your COVID losses with School Fun Run

Social distancing destroyed so many school fundraising options in 2020 that your school might well be behind your fundraising targets. Here’s how we can help.

So many cool stories came out of last year for our schools. In fact, our partner schools broke every major record we had going into 2020. What an amazing thing to witness during the instability of last year!  If we can do all that in the teeth of COVID-19, just imagine what we can create together this year!

In 2020, School Fun Run twice broke the Australian record for the most amount raised in a single School Fun-Run:

  1. Lindfield Public School raised $91,858 in March.

  2. Then Milton Public School raised $114,058 in August to take top spot; the first school over $100,000 in a single School Fun-Run.

Leading into 2020, our previous top two schools were St Patrick’s College Strathfield who added School Fun Run to their Cross Country to raise $91,743 with 360 students and Avalon Public School who raised $90,043 to replace their School Fete. During COVID-19, our top 100 events averaged $34,354 each and overall, our schools bumped up their average by 51% MORE per event! We even saw a week were our schools (as a collective) raised over $480,000 in just 7 days… remarkable!

Loads of schools raised over $50,000 during COVID in single events, but we also loved seeing the smaller schools punching above their weight. Congrats to St Patrick's for raising $26,000+ with just 130 kids. Stella job! With 210 students raised $31,110 and special mention goes to Southport Special School for their $15,028. It was such a great year to be helping schools; BIG or small.

We were truly blown away by the COMMUNITY SUPPORT for kids last year!

But better then all that, School Fun Run got tens of thousands of Aussie and NZ Kids outside and smiling during this tough year. There's a BIG focus on the mental health of kids right now and seeing so many HAPPYKIDS running around has been the real benefit of School Fun Run in 2020.

2020 was capped off with School Fun Run being recognised as the (SCHOOL) FUNDRAISING COMPANY OF THE YEAR. We’re delighted to get this award after the work we put in last year and we thank The Fundraising Directory for hosting them. We're so keen to continue working for you all. Creating lasting legacy for your school and magic memories with your kids, and remember ...

IF YOU CAN'T SEE CHASE, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG RACE!
