Ready, Set, Go!
It all starts with you requesting info here or calling 1800 FUN RUN. This gives us a chance to answer your questions and give you a personalised service.
Once you are happy and ready to proceed, you let us know by booking here and we’ll assign you a Fundraising Coach at School Fun Run HQ. To supercharge your event, your experienced Fundraising Coach will design a comprehensive end-to-end fundraising plan. Your plan will be tailored to engage the teachers, families and community at your school. You can then use our website to track your progress in live time!
From there, your Fundraising Coach will proactively work with you for the duration of your fundraiser. Yep, they’ll be your personal assistant. They’ll monitor your progress and call you weekly with feedback throughout the School Fun Run.
Pro Tip: Try to register your School Fun Run at least 6 weeks before your event date. You can link a School Fun Run to an existing event like your Cross Country or have a standalone School Spirit building day. You don’t need a budget to start (it’s 100% self-funding) and there is no financial risk or out of pocket expenses… so you can only WIN!

Activate online fundraising & get materials
You’ll get all the printed support material you need in what we call our ‘Ready Set Go’ pack. Your Fundraising Coach sends this to you after registration. They’ll also help you register for Online Fundraising so that you can smash your school’s old fundraising records… students will literally get donations while they sleep; it’s powerful stuff!
This is an easy school fundraiser as there are no products for your school community to buy, manage or sell. The donations come in as sponsorship from all over the world. Plus, there is no financial obligation on anyone because there are no set prices or anything like that. People can give as much or as little as they like. In fact, families don’t have a donate anything at all, that’s because almost all the money raised will be donated by your extended school community (people living interstate and even overseas). This reduces fundraising fatigue in your local community as School Fun Run involves the people (far away) who can’t attend your School Fete, Trivia Nights etc.

Launch and promote your special event
Your Fundraising Coach will help you make the lead up to this event just as much fun as the event day itself. You can use our prewritten support material and custom fundraising plan to kick off your fundraising at least 4 weeks before your event day.
We’ll provide everything you need to engage teachers and families. Your Fundraising Coach will talk you through all this stuff and make it fun. Plus, you can use our custom website to track your fundraising progress in live time and get help on-demand. You’ll also get access to digital support material like pre-written social media posts!

Hold your event day
Hold it anytime and anywhere. Host your event during school hours to maximise engagement. Most schools will run 100 kids at a time, on a 150m loop track, for 15 mins each. That allows most schools to hold their entire School Fun Run in the period between ‘End of Lunch’ and ‘End of Day’. Again, your Fundraising Coach will have awesome input here - it’s all about making magical memories with your school community. Together, we’ll have the kids screaming BEST DAY EVER!
PRO TIP: Ask your Fundraising Coach for an event day guide and get their input on cool obstacles to place on track!

Student rewards
All students raising over $10 will get a reward. There are never any spreadsheets for you to worry about because post-event, students will simply order their own prizes online. The website will track it all for you! See the PRIZES! Once we have your prize order the fun keeps going; we’ll box up all the prizes and send them to you for distribution to the students.

Voilà!
It’s good to note that there’s no financial risk, upfront cost, or out-of-pocket expense for your school. At the end of your event, you’ll receive a single all-inclusive invoice that covers everything.
When it’s all over we send the prizes and split the profit with you. 60% is retained by the school in cash to spend however you want (assuming you can claim back the GST). 40%+GST covers all costs to ensure you bank the most profit, in the easiest way possible.
