Mudgeeraba State School

“We have over 700 students enrolled and we had almost all of them here today. They have had so much fun the kids absolutely love it. It was excellent!

Usually Mudgeeraba State School we do a Spring Fair, the last one we did was in 2019. We didn't get to run one in 2020 of course (Covid-19), so we started looking at other options. We obviously saw other schools in our area do a School Colour Run and we thought this looks like so much fun.

It's easily rescheduled because we obviously have to think of of these sort of things when we plan events. All the fundraisings online which we absolutely loved and it was just so easy to plan. We'd definitely do it again.

As it stands now, with still three weeks of fundraising left, we have exceeded what we would make at a Spring Fair.

Speechless really... because the emotions that school communities across Australia have been going through now for the last couple of years, and thankfully for our PNC we're able to bring the School Fun Run here and just look at my school it's just a thriving Community today. It's lovely.

I would really love to give thanks to our School Community, our parents, students and staff. I am very grateful to be leading this community and particularly on a day like this. It just makes you remember the why.

I would recommend a School Fun Run to all schools. It's a very inclusive way of coming together for a community.
