“I’ve got two kids at the school, and they couldn't sleep last night, they were just buzzing looking forward to it. We've done colour runs in the past, they've been such a huge success and they just could not wait for it to happen again.

 This is the third time we've run our School Fun Run, we've turned it into a colour run each year, and you know what the first time we ran it I thought this is just such an easy way to do it. Now it's our third time that we've done it and we've just got it down pat.

 It's just one of the easiest ways to raise some money for our school and it's just so much fun to be involved. Seeing the smiles on the teachers faces, as well as the kids, and then also our parents have been out of watch too. So, that's been fun. I think also to seeing the teachers slimed, that's just brilliant.

 We've done other fundraisers in the past and let's just say in comparison the School Fun Run is just so easy. In the past we've done fates and all sorts of things where all the teachers end up spending their own money and so many hours of their own time. With this, it's the opposite, they just turn up and School Fun Run has done all the work for us. They just turn up and they have the most fun out of the whole year.

 It is the best experience possible and the best way of fundraising for a school. There are no more fates, no more fares, no more selling raffle tickets, it's just an easy easy way to earn money for the school and everyone benefits, and everyone enjoys it.

 I have told all my friends that are teachers at other schools in Sydney, Brisbane, wherever that they should do the fun run because it's my highlight of the year. I look forward to this day and you know what, I just get so much out of it. It's so fulfilling seeing everyone just so happy and doing some exercise… but with a big smile on their face!”
